Anyone who thinks good cocktails are reserved for the big-city hasn’t been to the almost 140 year old Hotel's Bar! The Brubachers have done something special for Tongie and are open for socialites who love craft and mainstream beers, wine and RC Cola Thursday–Saturday nights.

The original Hotel was built in late 1879 but it was purchased by Mary Jane Myers in 1889. Mary, otherwise known as Mollie, made the Myers Hotel famous for having the cleanest bedrooms and the best cooking west of the Mississippi! The main floor dining room was said to have such a big table in it; that up to 75 people could eat family style in the dining room. Many well-known historical figures such as Dwight D Eisenhower and William Inge stayed at the Myers, including General J.J. “Blackjack” Pershing, many politicians, Kansas Governors, soldiers from nearby Fort Leavenworth, and so many more.
